I honestly feel like I just wrote you guys yesterday. I can’t remember what I said in that last email so if I repeat things I’m sorry. Time just flies so fast that I can’t distinguish between this week and last week. But I love every single moment of it! There is no place that I’d rather be! (cue song ‘Rather Be’ by Clean Bandit)
HAPPY FATHERS DAY DAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just want to say thank you for everything you have done for me. You are the best dad ever! The example you set of continued selfless service is incredible. I have learned so much from you and continue to learn. Thanks for the amazing letters every week! I love you!
Life is good. It is like serving in Paradise. Huntington Beach is AWESOME! It is super nice here… most of the time. We stick to the areas where there are mostly Hispanics and that is in the ghetto type areas. There is this one area that it feels like it is straight from Mexico. I think everyone in that neighborhood is Hispanic. It is weird how similar people tend to congregate together.
So this week was cool, there were three baptisms in our zone/stake. Which is really good for just one week. For one of them, they didn’t start filling up the font enough time beforehand so during the entire program it was still running and it sounded like a waterfall. It was crazy. Then… the water was super low and they had stalled forever so they decided to just do it. Since the water was so low they had to baptize the guy four times because different parts of his body kept popping up.
Then we went on exchanges this week. My companion is the District Leader so we get to go on an exchange with the Zone Leaders once a transfer. It was fun. I was in their area so it was in English. It was so weird going and teaching lessons in English, but it was super fun. We had a goal to accomplish every aspect of missionary work together. We got a lesson, a member present lesson, a less-active lesson, found a new investigator, and contacted a bunch of people on the street. It was fun because if we saw a Hispanic, we would make sure to talk with them. The elder I was with spoke no Spanish so it was all on me. It was really good. We had a fun time and got a lot accomplished.
This week was a slow week for us though. It felt like nobody was home. It was kinda tough because we would be going to all of these set appointments and they would all just fall through. Good thing is it has motivated us to work really hard this week so I am excited for things to come. I love being a missionary. It is awesome!
I love you guys and hope y’all have a great week!!!

P.S. In that package that you sent me, the camera is almost exactly the same as the one I currently have. It is the same brand, same megapixels, same series of camera. It is crazy The only thing that is different is it has 8x zoom instead of 7x zoom. hahaha crazy
