So this week was pretty awesome. It has flown by crazy fast.

So Saturday was the baptism for A__________. He is amazing, so ready and prepared. We really didn’t have to do anything. It went really well. There were a bunch of people there. He invited a lot of his family who were members who introduced him to the church. It was his brother in-law that introduced family history to him and then it led to us answering a bunch of questions about the church with him, and then the rest is history. The cool part was he invited his ex-wife who isn’t a member, and she came and wants to investigate the church. She lives right outside our area (but still within the ward boundaries, so the other elders are going to go and start to teach her. The baptismal service went with out a flaw (except that the water was ice cold, the water heater in the building broke…). He then took us out to go get pupusas afterwards. THEY WERE AMAZING. It is a traditional dish from El Salvador, and they are like stuffed tortillas(cheese, beans or meat) with this cabbage and carrot mix on top. SO GOOD!!!

We had a really cool miracle. We have this couple that we taught once but they are really busy so we haven’t been able to find them again. But on Wednesday, we got the impression that we should pass by them even though we had in our plans that we were going to try later in the evening but we decided to just try by, and right as we were walking close by their house we see them pull out in so we flag them down and we set up an appointment for later that day, but when we try by they weren’t home, so we went to go try and visit some other people. Than we felt like we should go back one more time, and when we did, They were home and let us in. C_______ and R_______ are their names. We showed them a Mormon Message called “A Book of Mormon Story” The Spirit was so strong when we testified of the Book of Mormon and the Plan of Salvation. They then promised to come to church and R________ did and she loved it but C________ got a last second call to go to work… 🙁 He said he will try next week. They are a really cool family and that lesson really changed them, from a couple that would make excuses to investigators that really want to find out more.

The temple was amazing… We had to wake up at 3:00 to get ready and get there on time for the session. But it was just the spiritual boost that I needed. I am so tired now haha. More that usual. I didn’t even know that was possible haha.
