Letter #94: Work Work Work Every Day

So this week was epic! We have been working really hard this week but we saw quite a bit of miracles. It was awesome.

Thomas is a bro! He is doing so good. He is making so much progress, he just loves talking to us and he just wants to be a good person. He has read a ton in the Book of Mormon, he has already made it to Mosiah. He says he just feels so good when he reads. He has been so easy to teach because he just accepts everything so easily. He is excited for his baptism next week!

We have started to find a bunch of new investigators this week which has been pretty cool. We are teaching this less-active lady’s niece and nephew who literally just moved here from Mexico and speak zero english. They are 15/16. It is weird because most youth around here in Hispanic families prefer to speak English and never speak Spanish. But they are pretty cool.

We are teaching this guy Oswaldo who has questions for days, It is hard to keep him on track because he always has super deep doctrine questions. He is really fun to teach though.

We had a cool Trunk or Treat activity combined with two other wards and we had a lot of success, a bunch of less-active members showed up, investigators, and some members brought some friends which was awesome.

Nothing too crazy happened this week, just the normal dose of crazy homeless people on the streets of North Long Beach trying to argue with us haha, just the usual working hard and teaching people.

I love all of you and wish you all a Happy Halloween! For Halloween we are not allowed to leave our apartments so we are just going to chill inside and clean and study and stuff.
