HHHHEEEEEEYYYYYYY!!!!

This week has been a great week!! It started off super cool. Our investigator R____ is doing fantastic. We are working with him to get a testimony of the Book of Mormon because it truly is a domino effect. If it’s true than Joseph Smith was a Prophet and restored the true church of God and all that good stuff. He is really starting to love the book and hopefully he has the desire to come to church next week. After a lesson with him he said he had a present for us, he went into his back room and brought out a painting for each of us!!!!! IT IS SOOOOOO COOOOOOL!!!!!!!!!! Here is a picture of it. He said it was a gift for coming over all the time and talking with him. He is super cool and super humble. It was a really cool experience.

Then on the day after the 3rd of July it was INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!!!! It was pretty crazy. We got to eat some really good barbecue from a family so it was a little bit like home. I got my ribs in and thought about Tim as I was eating them. It was awesome. After dinner though, we had no success, nobody wanted to talk with us because they were all busy having parties and a lot of people were down by the beach. Apparently they have a huge parade here in HB and it is crazy packed down by the beach. There were a ton of fireworks that we saw when we were out and about working. our apartment is in Fountain Valley and they don’t allow fireworks there.

To celebrate America I made homemade ice cream (vanilla cake batter flavored) which was divine. I also made Chocolate Crinkles. It wasn’t as good as Dad’s homemade Ice-Cream/Brownies/Hot Fudge mix haha. It was awesome and we invited the elders who live above us in the same apartment complex to have a little party! It was fun.

This week we were teaching M______ and we asked her to be baptized and she accepted. She said she would love to. She is awesome, she came to church for the second time in a row and loves it. She is so prepared and so ready for the gospel. It is such a blessing to be the missionaries who are allowed to share the gospel with her. So we are planning for the baptism to be on the 25 of July. She is so cool.

Life is good here in Huntington Beach. I love being a missionary and having the opportunity to focus my entire time to helping others and serving others. It is super cool! I love all y’all and hope you have a great week!!!!
