Letter #67: #Aleluya

So this week has probably gone by faster than any other week in my life. I swear yesterday was pday…. wow.

We have been getting work done.

We have talked to a ton of super cool people this week. We talked to this guy named R_______ who just moved here from Nepal and he came up to us (that never happens) and started asking us questions. It was really cool, he said he is looking for a church to join and someone told him about us so when he saw us he ran over to talk to us. He has a really think accent so it was a little hard to understand him.

Then we had a good couple lessons with K_________ She is really progressing well, she wants to learn more and has this desire in her eyes. It was quite the change from the first time she talked to us and wanted to argue with us… and now she has totally changed. It was pretty cool to see.

We had a couple mission-wide conferences this past week which was fine.

On Thursday, my companion Elder Brock got a call saying that his Visa came in so we have to go to the Consulate in LA to pick it up this next week and then his flight to Spain is in like a month. April 18th, which is like a week before the end of the transfer so I might be in a trio with some other elders for a week… I’m not to sure yet. I will keep ya posted!

We taught this cool guy named F__________, he was the husband of one of our investigators. He is really prepared. We talked with him and he is super humble and willing to learn. He loves talking with us and knew a little bit about Mormons. He is trying to start his own Solar Panel/Construction company and said he heard about us because of Vivant. He seems pretty cool but he is just soooooooooo busy. That seems to be the biggest struggle here. We talk to so many people who want to learn more but they work from 6am to 10pm.. or something ridiculous like that.

That pretty much sums up this week… Life is good. I love being a missionary.
