What up!!!

How is life! I feel like I have fully adjusted to missionary life. My Spanish is improving, life is moving, and we are already done with our first transfer in the field… Crazy… I am half way done with my training!

So I have great news!! They said we can go pick up our car tonight!!! No more walking! It was interesting walking all the time but I can’t wait to have a car so we don’t spend two hours each day devoted to walking to and from our area… We can do so much more each day now.

So I had to go on exchanges this week and I was with Elder B________, who is a guy from Rexburg. We actually got along great. He is a super quiet kind of guy so I was worried that it would be awkward but it wasn’t. He reminds me a lot of Chris. Once I got him talking about video games we got along great. It was quite fun.

We had a cool experience this week as we were walking to an appointment. This lady and her husband were getting out of their car and we started talking to them and it was a lady who just moved from Colombia. She was super nice and said she was a member back in Colombia but traveled around and lost contact with the Church. We are going to try to bring her back to Church and teach her husband who is not a member. It was crazy running into her.

We are working really hard with three investigators, M______, Y_____, and V_______. We are really trying to get them to come to church but it feels like they disappear on Sunday mornings. They have such great potential but won’t make any commitments. We also have been working really hard with some less active members getting them to come back to church. That has been working really great.

Also this Sunday, I played piano in Elders Quorum. You would be proud of my skills Dad! I played just the right hand of We Thank Thee O God For a Prophet. I made a couple of mistakes but It went pretty good. (So if you send me another package could you put in a Simplified Hymnbook)

Thanks for all your words of encouragement, I always enjoy reading letters and seeing pictures! Have a great week!

Love,

Elder Matt Bryce
