Hola (That’s Spanish for Hello)!
Wow, my time at the CCM is almost up and it feels like I just got here. I am excited to go to California, even though I feel like my Spanish isnt ready, but I know that with God, all things are possible.
So we went to the Mexico City Temple this week and it is beautiful. It is probably my favorite temple. We only got to go to the visitor’s center but it was still a great experience. When we were on the bus, we saw real life missionaries walking on the street and I got really excited and then I realized I am a real life missionary and that is going to be me in less than a week walking on the street. Es muy Loco. The gift shop by the visitor’s center was super cool. (I bought some cool souvenirs for y’all. )
Life here is great. I feel the Spirit so much. The teachers here are great, and always speak with the Spirit. The devotionals here are spectacular. On Tuesday we had a devotional from Elder Netzahualcoyotl Salinas from the Quorum of the Seventy (an Area Authority), and he had a translator but when he started, he turned to the translator and said, “Sorry, but I feel like I should say something different then what I prepared.” And then he proceeded to give one of the best talk/devotionals that I have ever heard. He spoke with such power and authority and we all felt the truth of his message through the Spirit. It was amazing! And what he said was exactly what I needed, it felt as if he was giving the talk straight to me. And I could understand 95% of what he said in Spanish.
Thanks for the package, Mom! Those jelly beans are one of the best things on this earth and they came exactly when I needed them. Elder P got jelly beans at the exact same time too, so we have been stuffing our faces the last couple days.
All your letters were amazing and next time I write you I will be in California.
With love,
Elder Bryce
