Letter #79: Transfers!

So this week was transfer calls and I found out that I am leaving… So I have mixed feelings about that. I am excited for a change and a new area, but said to leave behind so many cool people and good friends that I have made. It does make sense because I have been here since before Christmas… so its been quite some time. haha

The new area I will be going to is part of the Long Beach Stake, but I will be serving in the north part which covers the cities of Paramount and Compton!!!! Awwww Yeah! I am super excited to go there! My new companion will be Elder Williams.

So this past week has flown by real quick. I was allowed to go back to work on Tuesday and we hit the ground running. We taught a bunch of lessons to a bunch of new people. One lesson to our most solid investigator S_____. She is super cool, I haven’t really been able to teach her that much but she it awesome. She is 17 and has a baby and used to be into drugs and alcohol but has really changed her life around. She loves church and is super excited to get baptized in August!

Then on Wednesday I went on exchanges with the elders who cover the cities of Cerritos/Artesia/Hawaiian Gardens. It was super fun, we set out hoping to teach a ton of lessons and to find new people. I was with Elder Peterson who is from Maryland, and we had a fun and successful time.

I also went on exchanges on Friday with the elders from Norwalk and we taught some really cool spiritual lessons. It was a really fun time just going out and working our hardest. Even thought we get rejected, I am just loving going out there and trying to help others.

I don’t have too much time this week. We are going to go say goodbye to soooo many people today so I will make this short. I love all of you and I love being a missionary. I truly have come to love those who I teach. I have felt a little bit of the love God has for his children and it has truly impacted me as a person. I just want to help people to recognize and feel of that love. I want to be as diligent and obedient as I can so that I can help as many people as I can. I love this Gospel!!!
