Wow. The weeks just continue to fly by.
We had a really cool experience this week. Rafael was released from the hospital and is doing a little better. He still feels a pretty bad though. We were able to have a lesson where the entire bishopric was able to come over. He asked them a bunch of questions and they were able to help him overcome his doubts. Rafael now wants to get baptized!!!! He says as soon as he starts to feel a bit better and recover a bit he will get baptized. He is so solid. He has gone through so much but remains faithful still. He is awesome!
We are teaching a bunch of people. One of which is Oswaldo. He is a smart guy who loves to learn. He is just so fascinated with The Book of Mormon. We found this new lady named Norma who seems really cool. We also have found a couple of less-active families that were not on the ward list.
We have also talked to some weird people on the streets. Long Beach is just filled with weirdies. It is ridiculous. We met a homeless lady who calls herself the Long Beach Vigilante. Haha it makes for some interesting stories every once in a while.
I just love this work. I love being a missionary and sharing the gospel with those around me. The effect this mission has had on me is incredible. It definitely has changed my life. My testimony has grown sooooooo much. I love this gospel.
I hope y’all have a great week!
